About Ciao Lunigiana

We’ve been travelling to the Lunigiana area of Tuscany for well over a decade, although it wasn’t until 2005 that we bought our little town house in the old borgo in Malgrate.
We weren’t actually planning to buy in Lunigiana, it just sort of happened, but that’s another story. Lunigiana was obviously already in our blood, and it chose us.
By the beginning of 2010, I had become sufficiently disillusioned with corporate life to chuck it in. I now split my time between the UK and Italy and pick up whatever freelance work I can. I have spent nearly 30 years working in the IT industry as a researcher, consultant and writer. Most recently, I spent 14 years working in corporate communications in the software industry.
I’m always trying to find out more about Lunigiana, and as there are so few English-language resources, I thought I’d share my love for Lunigiana through this site.
So, welcome to Ciao Lunigiana. I’m very open to ideas, so let me know if there is anything you would like to see, or better still, why not do a guest post!
Do get in touch via the contact form or leave a comment. I’d love to hear from you.
Sheila
