Lunigiana’s leading tour guide, Francesco Bola of Turismo in Lunigiana, has launched a new service, Turismo 5 Terre, that integrates existing tours with additional excursions in Liguria. The new itineraries mean that, for the first time, visitors can use the same guide to visit the whole region known as ‘historical Lunigiana’, the territory stretching between Massa, Pontremoli, Levanto, and Varese Ligure. The links between Lunigiana and the Liguria di Levante have always been strong, and the new tours will uniquely uncover the regions’ shared history and traditions.
Our aim is to develop quality tourism, where our attention to detail and knowledge of the traditions and culture of the territory will provide a unique experience for the visitor
As with Turismo in Lunigiana’s existing excursions, the new tours offer the same attention to detail and expert insider knowledge on the traditions, art, history, gastronomy and natural history of the area. Turismo 5 Terre will also offer excursions to the Riviera di Levante, including the Cinque Terre, Portovenere and Palmaria, Lerici and the Gulf of Poets, as well as to La Spezia, Sarzana and Luni. These can easily be combined with tours in Lunigiana and the Province of Massa Carrara, making it so much easier for visitors to explore the region. As well as tailor-made itineraries for individuals and small groups, Turismo 5 Terre offers tours for large groups and students.
